Installation of ICO PBS 1 in Micro-Ant Facility

Micro-Ant’s South Easton facility is now home to one of the ICO Global Communications Point Beacon System. This system provides calibration and beacon services to the ICO satellite network.

Micro-Ant was responsible for the design and manufacture of the S-Band Converter Unit that is installed in each rackmount box. The SBCU provides transmission and reception services between a satellite and the co-located baseband equipment.
